Okay, so SNK finally confirmed it – Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star is coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves! We all kinda suspected it after the initial teases, but now it’s official. He’s dropping as DLC in June, which is awesome. I’m super hyped to play as him!

What is Fist of the North Star?
Fist of the North Star, also known as Hokuto no Ken, is a popular manga series from Japan created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara. The story follows Kenshiro, a master of the Hokuto Shinken fighting style, as he battles against injustice in a world destroyed by a nuclear war. First published in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983, Fist of the North Star has captivated audiences around the globe with its rich story, compelling characters, and iconic quotes.
Okay, so get this – they’re rebooting Fist of the North Star with a brand new anime series! It’s hitting Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 10, 2026, at 1:00 AM JST. Apparently, it’s a total overhaul – new animation team, new voice actors, and they’re using all the latest tech to really bring it up to date. I’m stoked to see these epic fighters duke it out at the end of the century and create a whole new legend. I’m definitely setting a reminder!
You can now play Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s available through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
