FBI’s Maggie Has Advice For The Newest Member Of The Team in Exclusive Episode Clip, And Eva’s Reaction Has Me Excited For Their Team-Up

As a big TV fan, I’m really hooked on FBI! Season 8 is already off to a dramatic start – they wasted no time killing off a team member, but thankfully Isobel survived! They’ve added Juliana Aidén Martinez, who I remember from Law & Order: SVU, as Agent Eva Ramos, and she’s set to be Scola’s new partner. Interestingly, the next episode on November 10th will pair Eva with Maggie instead, and I got a sneak peek – a clip that shows exactly what Maggie thinks of the new agent so far. You can check it out above!

The video immediately grabs your attention, explaining why Scola is missing by referencing Nina’s story after FBI: Most Wanted ended in the spring. It also reveals that OA is still recovering from his life-threatening experience in the last episode, which may have introduced a new major villain for FBI. (You can watch that episode now with a Paramount+ subscription.) Afterwards, Eva asks Maggie for a frank assessment of her performance, and Maggie is willing to give her honest feedback.

Rather than getting defensive about her partner’s feedback, Eva simply acknowledged it with a “Noted” and appeared to accept Maggie’s comments as helpful advice, which was Maggie’s intention as a veteran 26 Fed agent. The episode, titled “Falsetto,” will reportedly feature the new team investigating a specific case, as described in the CBS preview.

After a brutal stabbing in a New York City park, Maggie teams up with Eva to track down the killer. When another murder occurs, they discover the killer is targeting specific people, leading them to wonder who is on the hit list and who will be next.

A murder in New York City, followed by evidence of a hit list, would usually trigger a massive response. It will be fascinating to watch how Maggie and Eva manage this complicated case while working without their regular partners.

In an interview with TopMob, actress Missy Peregrym described an upcoming episode of the show as “really fun” to film, particularly a scene with Juliana Aidén Martinez. She enjoyed seeing their characters, two women, taking charge and being strong together.

I always enjoyed the occasional team-ups between Maggie and Tiff on FBI. Since Dani wasn’t around long enough this season to have a satisfying partnership with anyone, I’m excited to see how Maggie and Eva work together as a duo.

Don’t miss the new episode of FBI, titled “Falsetto,” airing Monday, November 10th at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, before a new season 2 episode of Watson. This season marks the first time FBI has aired on Mondays and the first since the launch of FBI: Most Wanted in early 2020 without an accompanying spinoff series.

Even though Most Wanted and FBI: International were canceled, FBI is doing well in its new timeslot on Mondays. As for how Maggie and Eva will work together, viewers will have to tune in to the next episode of Season 8 to see!
