Football Manager 2026 is currently available in Early Access, and before its official release this week, we’re highlighting the top players to watch.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Manchester City’s new goalkeeper, is currently considered the best male player in his position. He’s closely followed by Alisson and Courtois. For the women’s game, Christiane Endler is ranked number one.

Okay, so it’s no shock that Donnarumma is number one – he’s incredible! But honestly, Alisson and Courtois are right up there with him, all three rated 89 overall.
