A fantastic soundtrack is essential for any good romantic comedy, and the new film, Finding Emily, absolutely nails it.

The new film, set in Manchester and starring Angourie Rice and Spike Fearn, came out in UK cinemas last weekend and has received very positive reviews. It currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 24 reviews, including a 4-star review from TopMob.

The music selection was incredibly diverse, ranging from local favorites like Blossoms and WH Lung to chart-topping artists such as Chappel Roan and Billie Eilish, and even included the classic New Order hit, Blue Monday.

Meanwhile, the film also has an original score penned by Morgan Kibby.

Who composed the score for Finding Emily?

In addition to the already impressive soundtrack, Finding Emily includes original music by Morgan Kibby, a musician known for her work with the French electronic group M83 from 2008 to 2015.

Throughout her career, Kibby has worked in many different music genres and with popular artists like Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, and Panic! at the Disco. She’s also composed the music for the Prime Video series, The Power.
