A picture circulating online, supposedly from an official artbook for the new Fire Emblem game, has caught the attention of fans on ResetEra and other forums like Famiboards and the Fire Emblem Discord. The image looks very real, and if it’s a fake, it’s incredibly well done. While the original source isn’t known, this artbook suggests the game is nearing release. Typically, these kinds of promotional materials aren’t created until the game’s release date is finalized.
Summer or Holiday Release Date
As a big Nintendo Switch 2 fan, I’ve been hearing a lot that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is going to be their big holiday release, and honestly, that made a lot of sense. But this new leak has me wondering if it might actually come out this summer, maybe in July or August. Nintendo has surprised us before by releasing games at different times of the year, even skipping the holidays altogether. And then there’s GTA 6 coming out in November… seriously, no game wants to go up against that! It’s going to dominate everything, and Nintendo will probably want to avoid that battle.
