KRAFTON and PUBG Studios are releasing a new PC game called PUBG: Black Budget, a first-person shooter where players extract items. They’re holding closed alpha tests from December 12-14 and December 19-21 in North America, Europe, and Asia. You can sign up to participate now through Steam.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
As a fan, I’d describe PUBG: Black Budget as a really intense game. It’s played entirely from your own eyes, putting you right in the action! It’s all about trying to survive, making smart decisions under pressure, and being constantly on edge because you never know what’s around the corner. It’s a tactical shooter where you’re trying to get in, grab what you need, and get out alive.
You play a seasoned contractor sent on a secret mission to a remote island. Your job is to retrieve highly classified technology from a deserted research lab. However, the island is caught in a repeating time loop caused by a strange event called the Anomaly. You’ll need to collect items, study what you find, and learn the truth about a hidden project called SAPIENS.
When you’re not on missions, you’ll focus on building up your base, creating new gear, and leveling up your character’s abilities. Be ready for challenging situations where you’ll face both other players and the environment, all in a world that becomes more chaotic with each cycle—and the longer you remain, the more difficult it will be to escape.
