Rockstar Games is releasing a PlayStation 5 version of Red Dead Redemption on December 2nd, 2025. It will also be available to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers at no extra cost on the same day, making it the first game announced for the PS Plus Extra lineup next month. More PS5 and PS4 games will be added to the service soon.
If you already have the PS4 version of the game, you can upgrade to the PS5 version for free. The PS5 edition offers a smoother experience with 60 frames per second, better graphics, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K. These improvements will also be available in the PS4 and PS5 versions included with PS Plus Extra.
