According to trusted sources, the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 remake for PlayStation 5 will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers in October 2025.
According to a recent Dealabs report, the upcoming game from Bloober Team and Konami will be available on PlayStation’s mid-tier subscription service. PlayStation is expected to announce this month’s games on October 15th, with the games becoming available the following Tuesday, October 21st.
There’s a lot of excitement around Silent Hill 2 this month because the agreement that made it exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PC is about to expire. This likely means the game could soon be available on other consoles.
When Silent Hill 2 was released on PS5 last year, we gave it a score of 9 out of 10. We said that the remake brilliantly captures what made the original 2001 game a classic, preserving its compelling story, rewarding exploration, and impactful combat. Despite some pre-release worries, the game proved itself to be a fantastic experience and a prime example of excellent survival horror.
