FKA Twigs puts on a racy display in a double-buckled bra and matching leather hot pants as she performs at Chicago’s The Salt Shed

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d say I recently donned a bold and alluring ensemble while performing in the vibrant city of Chicago. My outfit consisted of a double-buckled bra and matching leather hot pants that exuded a captivating energy. FKA Twigs, I believe, perfectly encapsulated the spirit of urban fashion on that stage.

On Tuesday, the 37-year-old British vocalist, known as Tahliah Barnett, graced the stage in Illinois.

As a devoted fan, I eagerly shared in the excitement for Tawny’s performance at The Salt Shed, and I couldn’t help but notice her bold choice of attire during her Eusexua tour. She graced the stage in a striking grey leather ensemble, accentuated by two chunky silver buckles on her bra, tastefully showcasing her elegance and confidence.

Meanwhile, on the lower half, she donned coordinated shorts that resembled a jockstrap and had lengthy belts dangling from them.

She finished off her outfit with knee-high laced boots while being surrounded by dancers, several of whom wore flesh-toned attire to look almost bare.

It seemed that the concert dates were postponed because Tahliah Barnett (also known as FKA twigs) was initially scheduled to perform in Chicago in March, but unfortunately had to cancel her performance due to problems with obtaining a visa.

Last month, Twigs left fans puzzled when she walked the Met Gala 2025 red carpet despite the cancellation of her recent U.S. tour dates, owing to persistent visa complications.

At the most prominent fashion showcase on Monday, she was an alluring sight in a stylish feathered dress from the flapper era. With her striking green skirt featuring a bold thigh-high slit, she exuded confidence and elegance, captivating everyone’s attention.

As Twigs exuded glamour on the red carpet, some fans expressed confusion on social media, questioning whether she was still dealing with visa issues, even though she’s previously clarified that these matters have been resolved.

After being compelled to cancel multiple US and Latin America shows at the end of March, including Coachella, was her next step.

Addressing the recent buzz surrounding a certain platform that used to be known as Twitter, I found myself fielding questions such as, “Aren’t her travel documents invalid?” It seems some folks were taken aback by her presence there.

It turns out her visa has been approved… So, she’s going to the Met Gala but not Coachella… Well, that’s alright then.

It seems that she encountered visa problems when it came to performing in Latin America and the U.S., but not for attending the Met Gala. That makes sense to me.

1. “What became of the visa issues…?”

2. “It’s quite amusing that she chose to attend this event over Coachella, given the visa complications.”

More recently, it was clarified by Twigs that the ‘continuing visa complications’ were due to her production team submitting the incorrect documents for her US performances on time, which is why she attended the Met Gala.

In an online video, she discussed: “Hey everyone, I thought it would be best to share some thoughts with you about certain events taking place backstage in my life.

It turns out that during the behind-the-scenes work on organizing this tour, including production aspects, there was an oversight with the paperwork submission for visas needed for us to travel and perform in the U.S. Unfortunately, the necessary documents were not completed and submitted in a timely manner.

‘I don’t take this lightly, I am completely devastated to be honest with you, I am heartbroken.’

She mentioned that she would need to adjust the dates for these performances. Further details will be shared soon.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share Eusexua with you; it ranks among the most remarkable accomplishments I’ve ever had.

Twigs had scheduled performances in Chicago on March 26, Toronto, Canada on March 30, and then two shows in New York on April 3 and 4.

She had previously confirmed the axed tour dates in a statement posted to Instagram.

At the moment, she expressed in a message: ‘It saddens me to announce this as I’m incredibly eager to share with you a piece I’ve put my heart into, which I consider among my best work. I understand that this news affects many of you who have already made arrangements and spent money to attend these shows.’

Prior to the Met Gala, Twigs made a sparkling debut on May 1 at the glamorous inauguration of GITANO NYC, marking her first U.S. appearance since she had to cancel her scheduled dates.

She captivated the audience, comprising Chloë Sevigny, Luann de Lesseps, and Adam Lambert, through her unique, seductive singing voice and powerful on-stage charisma.
