With the final season of Stranger Things almost here, Fortnite is teaming up with the show for a special event where you can celebrate – or say goodbye – to the series.

Epic Games is transforming the game world to reflect the setting of Stranger Things, adding characters and items inspired by the show.

When does the Fortnite Stranger Things collab release?

The Fortnite Stranger Things event will begin on 24th November 2025.

As a huge Stranger Things fan, I was so excited to see that the announcement landed on the same day Season 5 is finally dropping – it’s coming out later that week, and the timing couldn’t be better!

What to expect from the Fortnite Stranger Things collab

The major new feature in the Fortnite Stranger Things update is a completely new Blitz Royale map modeled after the eerie world of the Upside Down.

The new map will show a different take on the town of Hawkins, with a giant, threatening Mind Flayer looming above it.

The game will also get new outfits and accessories, though details about what those items will be haven’t been released yet.

Fortnite has already featured characters like Eleven, the Demogorgon, and Chief Hopper as playable skins since 2019. Fans are hoping to see even more characters from the show added to the game, including Eddie Munson, Vecna, Steve Harrington, and others.

We believe the next unique skin will be a new version of Peely. Peely was seen at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere sporting a Hellfire Club jacket, hinting that a similar skin might become available in the game when the update launches.
