Everyone expected Forza Horizon 6 to be a hit, even with the expensive price of the Premium Edition. According to DayOne (previously XboxEra), more than a million players pre-booked access to the game’s Japan setting.
Currently, the in-game leaderboard shows over 1.19 million players – and that number is still growing! Remarkably, it’s already surpassed the player count of Forza Horizon 5, and it achieved this in less time.
Just a reminder, this information applies to owners of the Premium Edition – those who paid $140 or have Game Pass Ultimate/PC Game Pass and spent $60 for early access. It’s hard to say exactly how many people will buy the Standard Edition when it releases on May 19th, but it has the potential to exceed the first-week sales of the previous game, which sold over ten million copies.
I recently checked out Forza Horizon 6, and seriously, it’s amazing! We gave it a 9/10 in our review – everything is just so polished, even if it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. And visually? It’s one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever seen. If you want a deeper dive, check out our full analysis!
