It’s no surprise that Forza Horizon 6 is already a hit for the series. Recent data from Alinea Analytics shows it’s sold over 500,000 copies on Steam and has been wishlisted 3.3 million times, further confirming its popularity.
The game is projected to have already earned around $30 million, factoring in different versions and prices across the globe. Initial sales on Steam alone are expected to reach two million copies within the first day, suggesting a very strong overall performance.
A lot of the excitement is thanks to the huge success of Forza Horizon 6, which attracted over 10 million Game Pass players in its first ten days. But there’s also the fact that this is the first game in the series for nearly five years. Considering how many fans were let down by Forza Motorsport, it’s no surprise people are eager for a well-made racing experience.
It definitely helps that fans have been asking us to set a game in Japan for years, and we’re finally delivering! Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be coming to PS5 later in the year. Here’s a quick first look at Tokyo City – it’s so large, it required a dedicated team to build!
