The new downloadable content “Fractured Utopias” for Frostpunk 2 is now available, according to developer 11 bit studios.
Here is an overview of the downloadable content, via its Steam page:
About
The first downloadable content for Frostpunk 2 builds on the foundation of Utopia Builder mode, adding more defined goals and broadening the possibilities. It also highlights how important your decisions are. Each faction now has a unique vision for a perfect society and specific ways to achieve it, but pursuing that dream always comes with consequences.
Each group in the city has its own idea of a perfect society, represented as a branching tree and fueled by shared beliefs. Gaining their trust unlocks special rules, buildings, and powers that highlight what makes them unique. Completing an entire faction’s tree lets you reshape the city according to their vision, uniting everyone under a single path and finally resolving all conflicts.
Your city may not fall. But whose future will it serve?
