The Game Boy – Nintendo Classics app has added Balloon Kid and Yoshi, Nintendo announced.
Here is an overview of each game, via their boxes:
Balloon Kid
Take to the skies with Balloon Kid.
Okay, so this game is all about staying light and soaring through some seriously rough skies! You’ll be dodging mean creatures in the air, and honestly, staying up high is a good idea because the stuff on the ground is even worse. Plus, if you collect all the balloons you can find, you unlock these really tough challenges that really put your skills to the test. It’s a blast!
Take a big gulp of courage and give Alice a hand as she searches for her missing brother.
You can play Balloon Kid by yourself, or connect with a friend using a Video Link cable for head-to-head races. Either way, the game is sure to be a fun experience!
Yoshi
An airborne puzzle invasion!
It’s raining all sorts of wacky creatures! Mario needs your help to deal with this crazy invasion from above! Catch the falling critters on trays, and quickly switch and rearrange them to save the day. If you stack two of the same creature, they’ll disappear! You can also trap them all inside matching egg shells, which will hatch Yoshi and boost your score!
Things get really exciting as the game speeds up! If your stacks get too big, you lose. You can pick how hard you want the game to be and try to beat your best score, or compete against a friend to see who can build the best stack!
If you enjoy playing Dr. Mario and are looking for a fresh, fast-paced puzzle experience, you’ll definitely want to check this game out!
