Good news! We’ve chosen our Push Square Game of the Month for November 2025: it’s Dispatch! This announcement was made on December 4th, 2025, at 5pm.
The game with a strong focus on superheroes and storytelling easily won the fan vote, even though many felt the choices last month weren’t very strong.
Just to clarify, Dispatch is releasing episodes over time, starting with the first two which came out in October.
The last two episodes were released on November 12th, so we decided to include it in our November Game of the Month discussion. It just wouldn’t be fair to review a game without finishing it first, would it?
We received over 800 votes from our readers, who chose from a list of 10 nominated games. Here are the top 5 PlayStation 5 games according to those votes, for the month of November:
- Dispatch – 410 votes (50%)
- Where Winds Meet – 91 votes (11%)
- Lumines Arise – 79 votes (10%)
- STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl – 76 votes (9%)
- Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road – 32 votes (4%)
We believe Dispatch is a well-deserved winner. While Telltale Games helped make episodic games popular and then largely abandoned the format, AdHoc Studio’s game truly showcased the potential of the episodic approach.
Players were drawn to Dispatch thanks to its fun characters, funny writing, and gameplay that was surprisingly hard to stop playing, leading many to return week after week.
We called Dispatch a really fun game in our full PlayStation 5 review, especially if you enjoy its humor. We gave it a score of 8 out of 10, which we consider ‘great’.
Huge congratulations to Robert Robertson and his team of former villains for their victory! It’s definitely Employee of the Month material at SDN!
November is already over, and we’re quickly approaching the start of 2026. It feels like the last month flew by!
It was a strange November for gaming, honestly. Usually, it’s packed with huge releases, but this year felt surprisingly quiet. There were new games coming out, sure, but not a lot of those massive, can’t-miss titles we usually see.
As a big Call of Duty fan, I was super excited for Black Ops 7, and it definitely got the most attention this month. But honestly, it’s been a bit of a letdown – the reviews weren’t great, and a lot of players, including me, have been a little disappointed with it.
Honestly, after the big releases, it was the smaller games that really grabbed me. Lumines Arise was incredible – a puzzle game on the PS5 that you absolutely had to play. And I was totally hooked by 1000xRESIST, too – it was a really captivating story and a seriously mind-bending experience.
Where Winds Meet is another game worth noting. It’s a free-to-play action RPG with a vast open world, and while it’s incredibly ambitious, it feels a bit unstable on the PlayStation 5. Still, it offers a truly unique experience.
Just at the end of the month, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was released on PlayStation, but it needed a large update on launch day to fix issues and run smoothly.
Let’s not forget Dispatch! This superhero drama started in October with its first two episodes, and since it finished airing on November 12th, we wanted to include it in this month’s voting.
Okay, with that said, let’s quickly review our Game of the Month winners so far in 2025…
