Gears of War: Reloaded Surpasses 1 Million Players in 3 Days

After a span of three days since its release, it’s been established that over one million gamers have already played “Gears of War: Reloaded”. Given that this is an upgraded adaptation of the initial game, it additionally signifies the beginning of the franchise’s presence on PlayStation consoles.

Players having access to the game through Game Pass or by upgrading their Ultimate Edition likely account for a large portion of gamers. On PC, Reloaded reached a peak of 4,819 concurrent players on Steam and currently, only 53% of user reviews are positive, which has led to it being generally received as “Mixed.” It appears that the previously promoted split-screen co-op mode is not actually included in the game.

Leaving out any technical problems like sudden game crashes when adjusting graphics settings or login difficulties with Microsoft accounts (which don’t happen on the Microsoft Store version), it should be noted that while issues regarding the Xbox One version remain unclear, The Coalition has confirmed that they have rectified start-up crashes for the PC version. Additionally, players who pre-ordered can now access the Adam Fenix and Anya Stroud bonus skins.

Stay tuned for more updates, and in the meantime, check out our review of the PS5 version.
