As a Genshin Impact player, I’m super excited because the game’s getting another update! On January 14th, Luna IV drops, continuing the story in the Welkin Moon saga. It feels like there’s always something new to explore in this game!
The update introduces two new playable 5-Star characters: Columbina and Zibai. Columbina specializes in triggering and maximizing Lunar reactions, and Zibai greatly improves the power of the new Lunar-Crystallize reaction, which happens when you combine Geo and Hydro elements.
The first part of the update will feature Columbina and Ineffa, followed by Zibai and Neuvillette in the second part. A new 4-star character, Illuga, will be released alongside Zibai and Neuvillette.
As it’s the Lunar New Year, the Lantern Rite event is back! This year, it’s a permanent addition, meaning you can enjoy it whenever you like. You’ll be able to earn Xiao Lanterns and place them in Liyue to send good wishes to other players.
Players can look forward to plenty of free in-game items, such as 1,600 Primogems, 10 Intertwined Fates, and a complimentary 4-Star character from Liyue.
