Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have unveiled a fresh trailer for the game known as “Ghost of Yotei,” titled “Song of Vengeance.” Additionally, they’ve announced that next year, 2026, will see the release of the free multiplayer downloadable content called “Legends” for the game.
According to Andrew Goldfarb, the senior communications manager at Sucker Punch Productions, our cooperative multiplayer mode is called “Legends” and it offers a mystical, otherworldly environment that contrasts with the realistic setting of Ghost of Yotei. This experience mirrors that of Ghost of Tsushima Legends, and much like its predecessor, Ghost of Yotei Legends will be a free add-on for all owners of Ghost of Yotei.
Goldfarb explained that the game, titled “Ghost of Yotei Legends“, will feature two-player story missions and four-player survival modes. In this version, players can choose from four character classes and aim to overcome demonic, towering versions of the Yōtei Six members, as well as a host of new enemies who fight together with them.
Ghost of Yotei is due out for PlayStation 5 on October 2.
