While the fight against Lord Saito and the Dragon in Ghost of Yōtei: Legends remains challenging, it’s now simpler to find other players to team up with. Sucker Punch recently released an update that adds matchmaking, and that’s great news so soon after the game launched – less than two weeks ago, in fact!
The Raid now includes a challenging new difficulty called Hell Mode for boss fights. Beating these bosses unlocks exclusive cosmetic items for your class, so it might be worth the extra effort! Plus, players can now jump straight into battles with the Dragon and Saito if they prefer.
We’ve added a ‘Gear Retirement’ feature for players who want to keep track of their old equipment. It doesn’t actually do anything useful, but it lets you show off how much gear you’ve perfected – and how much in-game currency you’ve spent doing it! When you bow, fireflies will appear as a visual display of your collection.
You can find a full list of changes below, including fixes for some uncommon crashes. We’ve also addressed problems where certain enemy attacks were doing too much damage, and players can now complete their Ultimate attacks without being disarmed.
