Sony has announced that Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima sold 3.3 million copies by November 2nd. The open-world adventure game launched on PlayStation 5 just one month earlier.
While the initial sales numbers for Ghost of Yōtei might not seem amazing compared to Ghost of Tsushima – which sold 2.4 million copies in its first three days and became Sony’s fastest-selling new game – Tsushima eventually reached five million sales four months after its release. If Ghost of Yōtei keeps selling at its current rate, it’s likely to exceed Tsushima’s sales within a similar timeframe.
Sucker Punch hasn’t announced if Ghost of Tsushima will come to PC or receive any additional downloadable content, though they are considering DLC. However, players who’ve fully completed the game can anticipate more content in 2026 with the free release of Ghost of Yōtei: Legends. This update will add new story missions for two players and Survival missions for up to four.
