Ghost of Yotei Spotlights the Yari Spear in Latest PS5 Gameplay Clip

Previously, Sony and Sucker Punch unveiled a short clip, showcasing one type of weapon that players can utilize in Ghost of Yotei upon its release in October.

In our initial clip, we delved into the topic of kusarigama, and now, let’s move on to a short segment about another weapon in Atsu’s inventory – the yari, which is essentially a spear.

In simpler terms, it’s just as intense, but you’ll have the advantage of being further away, allowing you to spear enemies even at a distance. Atsu swiftly eliminates a gang on a bridge within thirty seconds – sheer effectiveness.

Anticipating that other primary weapon types will also receive similar video presentations, just like the two weapons we’ve already showcased – dual swords, odachi, and the traditional katana are yet to be featured in this style of video.

Additionally, we’re aware that Atsu also has some long-range capabilities. It’s possible we might create a separate video to focus on these aspects too.
