Hailee Steinfeld is getting support from her huddle.

Just after sharing the news on December 12th that she and her husband, Josh Allen, are expecting a baby, the former Pitch Perfect actress received an outpouring of support and congratulations from her friends and colleagues.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback started the celebration by leaving a sweet message – simply “I love you” – on their shared Instagram post.

Gigi Hadid shared her excitement with a comment saying “Omg yaaaaaayyyy,” and Millie Bobby Brown, who recently became a mother herself, wrote, “OH MY GODDDDD HAILS!!!!!”

Okay, so I was completely losing it when I saw Sophie Turner’s reaction! Seriously, my queen, Sophie – you know, the amazing Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones and mom to the cutest little girls, Willa and Delphine, with Joe Jonas (ugh, can we not talk about him?) – just posted the most relatable thing ever. She basically screamed ‘Oh my god haileeeeeeeee!’ and I felt SO seen. It’s like she gets me, you know? I’m obsessed with her, obviously.

Actress Shannon Purser, known for her role in Sinners, received supportive messages, including one from Christen Goff, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who expressed her excitement with a simple, “So happy for you guys.”

Hailee received a lot of support from her friends, and her brother, Griffin Steinfeld, shared a family perspective, saying he’s excited to support her as she prepares to become a mother. He jokingly announced he’s ready for his ‘Uncle Griff’ duties.

Hailee, who got married to Josh in May and recently revealed she’s expecting, shared some thoughts about what she’s learned this year and what she’s looking forward to as she approaches her 29th birthday.

She reflected on her Beau Society Substack about how fortunate we are to age. She described her 28th year as exciting, wonderful, and a period of growth, filled with subtle but impactful experiences. This year, she’s been particularly aware of just how valuable life is.

She admitted she’d constantly been amazed by her own resilience. Often, laughter helped her through tough times. At other moments, she found comfort in simple things – like making breakfast with Josh, establishing relaxing routines for morning and night, and connecting with friends who truly understood her.

As Hailee prepares to welcome a baby, let’s revisit how she and Josh fell in love.

After recently ending his relationship with Brittany Williams, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was seen having dinner in New York City with actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Two months later, the duo confirmed their relationship while kissing on vacation in Mexico. 

Almost a year after people started speculating they were dating, the athlete and actress recently made a public appearance on social media. They helped the athlete’s sister, Nicala Madden, find out the sex of her baby in a sweet TikTok video.

 

During Paris Fashion Week, the actress from The Edge of Seventeen and her NFL player boyfriend were seen on a date, both wearing similar khaki-colored outfits.

The NFL player publicly confirmed his relationship with his partner by sharing photos on Instagram, including a picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower, on July 23rd.

Included in that same post, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

Reporter Kay Adams, on her show Up & Adams, playfully nicknamed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”

Hailee and Josh announced their engagement on Instagram on November 29, 2024, with a photo of Josh proposing and Hailee accepting with a kiss. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024, in the post’s caption.

 

Josh and Hailee quickly became a public couple, appearing together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors just months after getting engaged. While accepting his MVP award, Josh lovingly acknowledged Hailee in his speech.

He told her she was his biggest support and closest friend, adding that he wouldn’t have been able to achieve this moment without her.

Oh my gosh, did you SEE it?! She and he finally got married! It was this incredible California wedding, and she looked absolutely breathtaking in a strapless dress – but get this – with elbow-length gloves! I seriously can’t stop thinking about it, it was perfection!

The couple shared the news that they are expecting their first baby with beautiful maternity photos taken in the snow, posted on her Beau Society Substack.
