Gisele Bündchen Shares Rare Look at Boyfriend Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are aligned—mind, body and soul.

The supermodel recently shared a glimpse of her boyfriend while they enjoyed an active outing. Gisele posted a video on Instagram showing her sparring with Joaquim, who teaches jiu-jitsu, as a way to celebrate the benefits of staying fit.

Gisele recently shared some simple advice: prioritize physical activity. She believes that taking care of your body – which she calls your home – means keeping it in motion. She emphasizes that movement isn’t just good for your physical health, but also for your mental and emotional wellbeing.

Along with a slideshow of videos showing her biking (even hands-free!), dancing, and surfing, Gisele discussed the importance of staying active. The videos also featured her children, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, whose father is her ex-husband, Tom Brady.

As the author, age 45, explains, physical movement isn’t just about changing position. It also helps release pent-up energy and emotions you’ve been holding onto.

Gisele ended her message with a call to action for her followers.

She encouraged everyone to find a way to be active, whether it’s going to the gym, taking a walk, dancing, or doing pilates. The important thing is to simply move your body, and to think of it not as something you have to do, but as a treat for yourself.

Gisele recently shared a new post just after showing everyone a heartwarming picture of her and Joaquim’s baby son—they haven’t revealed his name yet—spending time with his older brother.

The photo shows Benjamin sitting on a bench with his baby brother on his lap, facing away from the camera and towards a piano. Along with the picture, the mother wrote a heartfelt message: “There’s nothing more valuable than time…except who you share it with.”

She’s cherished the time she’s spent with her children and Joaquim since they began dating in 2023, and has spoken about how positively he’s influenced both her life and the lives of her kids.

She told Vanity Fair in March 2023 that she’s incredibly thankful for the people in her life, who have supported both her and her children. They’ve also become close friends, particularly Joaquim. She described him as a mentor she deeply admires and trusts, and values the positive influence he has on her kids.

Tom Brady is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in football history. Over his 23 seasons – 20 with the New England Patriots and 3 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – he won an incredible seven Super Bowls. He briefly retired in 2022, but came back for another season before retiring for good the following year.

But family is what truly matters most to Brady. He has four children: Jack, with his former partner Bridget Moynahan (they ended their relationship in 2006 after nearly three years together), and Benjamin and Vivian with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen (they divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage).

In a 2023 interview with TopMob News, Brady shared, “Spending time with my kids is a great thing for me. They bring so much to my life, adding joy, energy, and a sense of maturity. I want to be there to support them as they grow.”

Bridget Moynahan, known for her role on the TV show Blue Bloods, experienced a particularly intense media storm in 2007 when it was revealed she was pregnant with Tom Brady’s child. This happened shortly after their relationship ended and he began dating Gisele Bündchen.

In a 2019 interview with People magazine, the actress described being constantly followed by paparazzi. “I had cars following me, and men hiding outside my house,” she recalled. “As a new mother, you just want to protect your child, and that level of attention felt like a real threat.”

John Edward Thomas Moynahan, known as Jack, was born in August 2007. His arrival had a profound impact on his parents, Tom and Gisele. Tom shared on Instagram for Jack’s 16th birthday in 2023 that Jack has brought joy and blessings to their lives since the day he was born. Gisele has described Jack as her “bonus child” and explained that having him prompted her and Tom to reconsider their plans for expanding their family. Gisele initially stated that her connection with Joaquim was purely a friendship. In a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, she acknowledged people might speculate about her relationships now that she’s divorced. She then spoke highly of Joaquim and his brothers, expressing gratitude for their support of her and her children. She described Joaquim as a jiu-jitsu instructor, a friend, and someone she deeply admires and trusts, appreciating the positive influence he has on her family.

Their friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship. In a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, she explained that dating someone she was friends with first was a new and different experience, emphasizing the honesty and openness of the connection. She firmly denied any claims of infidelity during her previous marriage, calling them false. Though they’ve occasionally displayed affection in public, Joaquim and Gisele generally keep their relationship private.

Gisele and Joaquim have been keeping another part of their life under wraps: their new baby. Since welcoming the child in early 2025, they haven’t shared the baby’s name with the public.
