MachineGames has released a new, free update for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5. This patch adds a new costume for Indiana Jones inspired by a memorable scene from Temple of Doom.
Now that you’ve downloaded the update, you can find a new outfit – inspired by the suit worn in the movie during the dinner scene at Pankot Palace – in the Outfit section of the pause menu.
After you choose it, this outfit will be Indy’s standard look unless he’s in disguise. The developers have also announced they’ll be adding another new outfit to the game in a future update.
This update marks the one-year anniversary of the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The game first launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9th, 2024, and became available on PS5 earlier in 2024.
In a recent blog post, Anne Lewis, a senior content lead, expressed gratitude to all the players of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. She noted it’s been a year since the game’s launch, which brought an unforgettable adventure to millions. The game has since been enhanced with the addition of the ‘The Order of Giants’ downloadable content.
Our review of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5 gave it an 8 out of 10. We especially liked how well it captured the spirit of the movies, its open level design, and Troy Baker’s performance as Indiana Jones. We called it ‘good old fashioned fun,’ noting that while the gameplay is fairly simple, the game features beautiful, detailed environments, strong writing, and excellent performances, creating a thrilling, globe-trotting adventure that truly feels like an Indiana Jones film. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

New Features
A new outfit inspired by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom™ is now available for all players! Indy can now wear the suit he famously wore to dinner at Pankot Palace.
- To switch to the new outfit, visit the “Outfit” tab in the Options menu and select the “Pankot Palace” outfit. Any other custom outfits you have from Pre-Order or Premium upgrades are also in this tab.
- Indy will wear this outfit whenever he isn’t wearing a disguise, or if the level requires a special outfit such as in Marshall College or in Nepal
- There’s still another new outfit to come in a future update… so stay tuned!
Bug fixes and game updates
Main Game
- Fixed the VO balance on some scenes to make the speech more audible
- Fixed an issue where the game’s manual entries were incorrect about alternative outfits and whips
- Fixed an issue with power-saving mode on Xbox Series X|S that could cause it to activate in the middle of some videos
The Order of Giants DLC
- Fixed an issue where the Fieldwork name for “A Mystery Begins” may not appear correctly in your Journal if you had already progressed beyond the Vatican when first purchasing the DLC.
