- Goddess of Victory: Nikke is going fully 3D with upcoming spinoff Nikke World!
- Well, it’s not, but check your calendar for why that is
- But you can still log in and enjoy limited-time April Fools events too!
Goddess of Victory: Nikke players have long wished for a more immersive experience, and it’s finally coming! Nikke World 2.0, launching in 2036, will bring the game to life in 3D. Explore the Surface, build and defend your base, and even care for adorable Doro pets – it’s a whole new way to play!
If you haven’t set reminders yet, take a look at your calendar! This is an April Fool’s joke, but it’s a surprisingly creative one, typical of Level Infinite’s approach to this date.
Good news! While a full ‘Nikke World’ experience isn’t happening yet, there will be special in-game events this April Fool’s Day. From now until April 2nd, you can play a new, limited-time minigame in the Simulation Room with Syuen, Shifty, and Mecha Shifty.
Looking Shifty
Not only that, but Mecha-Shifty will also be taking over duties at the content shop until the 4th, and offering both exclusive event items and even 100% discounts on some stuff. Meanwhile, new limited-time quests will also run until the 4th, featuring Mega Shift vs Mega Mechami Shift. All of this is themed around the fictional upcoming ‘spinoff’.
It’s funny how the most disappointing April Fools’ jokes are the ones for things we actually want to be true. A lot of people were probably thrilled to hear about a potential full 3D version of Nikke, but sadly it wasn’t real. Luckily, these kinds of jokes usually come with some fun new in-game events to make up for the disappointment.
If you’re still getting the hang of Goddess of Victory: Nikke, we’re here to help! Our tier list offers all the tips and tricks you’ll need to get started.
