Season 3 of Good Omens will expand the story beyond the original book, and we’re starting to get hints about what to expect.
The last episode of season 2 ended with a painful moment: Crowley and Aziraphale, played by David Tennant and Michael Sheen, sadly parted ways after finally admitting their feelings and sharing a kiss.
A new poster for the third season hints at what’s to come with that storyline – and it suggests things won’t end well. The season will conclude with a single, 90-minute finale.
Crowley and Aziraphale each stand on the edge of a cliff, separated from each other. Crowley’s side looks like Hell, with flames rising up, while Aziraphale’s side has a heavenly scroll hanging over the edge.

This is the first time the two main characters, Crowley and Aziraphale, have appeared apart on a Good Omens poster. The space between them suggests a growing distance and possible conflict. Crowley’s car, a Bentley, is positioned right in the middle, separating them.
The set also features props from the show itself. For Crowley, you can spot the Whickber Street sign – the location of Aziraphale’s bookshop – along with snow globes and piles of books.
A wilting plant, leftover pizza, and a sleeping bag are also visible, suggesting the demon is having a difficult time coping with the breakup.
Interestingly, Aziraphale has almost nothing around him, which is unusual for someone who cares so much about his belongings.
Despite being surrounded by chaos, a bright light shines between them, suggesting a hopeful outcome.
People watching the show have also commented on the characters’ wings. Aziraphale’s wings aren’t as perfectly white as they used to be, and Crowley’s wings appear faded, with streaks of white. This change likely symbolizes that things aren’t always clear-cut, even for beings representing Heaven and Hell.
Not much is known about what happens in the final episode, but the actor previously hinted that it will be a mix of satisfying moments and controversial choices. He also mentioned that the finale was originally planned to be six episodes long, but ended up being shorter.
It’s a truly wonderful production! The direction is superb, the acting is beautiful, and the costumes and overall design are fantastic. Plus, there’s a lovely, unexpected touch with the inclusion of nightingales.

Following accusations of sexual assault – which he firmly rejects – Neil Gaiman, a writer on the TV series Good Omens, stepped away from the show. While he did contribute to the final episode’s writing, he wasn’t involved in the production itself, nor was his company, Blank Corporation.
Nine women have publicly accused the writer of misconduct, as reported in a January 2025 article by Vulture and a July 2024 podcast from Tortoise Media.
I was really shocked to hear the allegations against Neil Gaiman. Apparently, someone claimed he was involved in rough or BDSM acts without their consent. He’s come out and strongly denied everything, saying he never did anything non-consensual or illegal. It’s a really upsetting situation, and I hope everything gets sorted out fairly.
Honestly, reading his new stories is a really strange experience. Some parts feel so familiar, like I know they happened, while others… well, they definitely feel made up. It’s like he’s mixing real memories with complete fabrications, and it’s fascinating and confusing all at once.
I’m not perfect, but I’ve never been involved in any sexual activity without the other person’s full consent. Not once.
Good Omens season 3 will arrive on Prime Video on 13 May 2026.
