Good Omens season 3 unveils first look at Michael Sheen’s Aziraphale in finale episode

Fans are getting a new look at Michael Sheen as Aziraphale before the release of the 90-minute finale of Good Omens season 3. The finale has been highly anticipated.

A new image shared on the show’s social media depicts an angel, played by Sheen, looking through a window with a peaceful, inquisitive look. The scene is set within what seems to be his character’s cherished bookshop.

Aziraphale, still sporting his usual pale coat, vest, and bow tie, looks perfectly put-together, though the picture hints that something isn’t quite right.

This initial glimpse is quite different from the recent photo of David Tennant as Crowley, which depicted the demon looking messy and very angry.

When you compare the two images, they suggest the final episode of Good Omens might deliver a mix of wild events and deeply sad moments as the story concludes.

Details about what happens in the final episode are still a secret, but the 90-minute special is scheduled to premiere on May 13, 2026, and will conclude the Prime Video series.

This show is inspired by a novel from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and it’s about the surprising friendship between an angel named Aziraphale and a demon named Crowley. Their bond often lands them in major trouble with both Heaven and Hell.

The second season ended in July 2023 with a dramatic cliffhanger: Aziraphale and Crowley were unexpectedly separated just as they seemed ready to confess their feelings for each other. This has left fans anxiously awaiting the finale, wondering if the pair will reunite – and if so, how smoothly things will go.

Charlie Sheen hinted the last episode will be memorable, promising both heartwarming scenes fans will love and controversial plot points that will get people talking.

Following accusations of sexual assault – which he firmly denies – Neil Gaiman, who co-wrote the series Good Omens, stepped away from the TV show. While he did contribute to the final episode’s writing, he wasn’t involved in the production process itself, nor was his company, Blank Corporation.

Nine women have publicly accused the writer of misconduct, as reported in a January 2025 article by Vulture and a July 2024 podcast from Tortoise Media.

The accusations against Gaiman involved claims of forceful sexual activity and BDSM acts without the other person’s agreement. Gaiman has strongly stated that he never engaged in any activity that wasn’t consensual or legal.

Honestly, reading through these stories is a really strange experience. Some parts feel so familiar, like I was right there, while others… well, they just don’t ring true at all. It’s like he’s mixing up what actually happened with things that definitely didn’t. It’s a weird mix of memory and, I guess, imagination.

I’m not perfect, but I’ve never had sex with anyone without their full consent, not even once.
