Now that it’s official: the popular fantasy series Good Omens will end with a 90-minute finale in May. Fans are eagerly anticipating how the story will conclude for David Tennant’s character, Crowley, and Michael Sheen’s angel, Aziraphale.
The show ended with the main characters’ stories unresolved, and viewers are curious if Gabriel will return in future episodes.
Last season, the popular character, played by Jon Hamm, woke up with no memory and completely naked. Crowley and Aziraphale were determined to figure out what had caused his amnesia.
Gabriel found a happy ending by falling in love with Beelzebub (Shelley Conn), and together they left their jobs to start a new life on Alpha Centauri. However, will Gabriel appear in the final season of Good Omens?

When asked about a potential return, Hamm, while promoting the second season of Apple TV+’s “Your Friends & Neighbours,” said it wasn’t his decision. He explained that it’s up to those with more authority, but he was happy with how his character, Archangel Gabriel, concluded his arc.
It feels like he’s truly found the one, and he’s just… lost in bliss right now. I like to think that means he’ll find his way back to us somehow, in whatever form that takes. I’m really hoping that happens.
The next episode comes out next month, and while we don’t yet know who will be appearing with Tennant and Sheen, many fans are hoping for one last glimpse of Gabriel!
Following accusations of sexual assault – which he firmly rejects – Neil Gaiman, a writer on the TV series Good Omens, stepped away from the show. While he did contribute to the final episode’s writing, he wasn’t involved in the production itself, and his company, Blank Corporation, had no part in it.
I’ve been following this situation closely, and it’s heartbreaking to hear the stories of the nine women who have come forward. They’ve bravely shared their experiences in a detailed article published by Vulture back in January 2025, and also in a really impactful podcast from Tortoise Media that came out last July. It takes a lot of courage to speak up, and I’m standing with them.
The accusations against Gaiman involve claims of sexual activity, including rough sex and BDSM, that he allegedly engaged in without the other person’s consent. Gaiman has strongly denied any wrongdoing or illegal behavior in a public statement.
When I read these stories, some parts feel familiar while others don’t. It’s a mix of things that actually happened and things that clearly didn’t.
I’m not perfect, but I’ve never been involved in any sexual activity without the other person’s full consent. Not once.
