The game unlocks at the same time for everyone globally. Players in East Asia and Australia will experience the unlock after midnight local time, coinciding with the same moment worldwide. It’s the same release, just appearing on a different date due to time zones. There isn’t a separate release schedule for these regions, and players there aren’t waiting any longer than anyone else.
What Platforms Is Gothic 1 Remake Coming To?
THQ Nordic has announced that the remake of Gothic 1 will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. PC players can purchase the game on Steam and GOG.
Pre-Order and Store Differences
The pre-order bonus varies depending on where you buy the game. If you pre-order on PC through Steam or GOG, you’ll get the digital soundtrack for free. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, pre-ordering gets you immediate access to the original 2001 game, Gothic Classic.
