Cygames is letting players try out the new ‘Summon’ feature in Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok with an open beta from April 24th to 27th. This is also a chance to play as Beatrix, a new character who will be available when the full expansion launches on July 9th. Unfortunately, Eustace won’t be playable during the beta.
Summons let players call powerful creatures to help defeat their enemies. The open beta will include the same three missions as the closed beta, and you can continue your progress from the closed beta. It’s a good idea to check your equipment and team before starting, though. The open beta also introduces Lyria’s Primal Burst, a new ability with special requirements that can deal massive damage and give you an edge against Beelzebub.
Everyone playing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch can download this update for free. You can start downloading it on April 23rd. Check out the new trailer below to get excited about jumping back into this popular game, even before the new expansion arrives!
