Grey’s Anatomy Fans Are Convinced Major Character Dies in Season 22

Is a major change afoot at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital?

With the upcoming season 22 of *Grey’s Anatomy* set to premiere in October, fans on social media have been wondering if an explosion that happened at the hospital in the season 21 finale might mean trouble for one of the show’s most popular characters.

A preview for the upcoming season, released on September 23rd, hints at potential character deaths, leaving cast members worried about the fate of Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack).

Fans have been closely examining who will return for the new season. According to TVLine, several original cast members – including Chandra, Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Caterina Scorsone, and Camilla Luddington – are confirmed to return. However, many viewers and the publication both noted that Chris was not on the list of returning actors.
