The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release later this year, signaling a shift away from the current Grand Theft Auto Online. Although many players still enjoy the existing online game, Rockstar Games is offering a free gift for players, but the opportunity to claim it won’t last much longer.
Currently, players can get a free Coil Rocket Voltic in Grand Theft Auto Online, but the offer ends on March 25th. To claim it, simply open the Warstock Cache & Carry website using the in-game phone browser while in an online lobby, and then purchase the vehicle – it’s free! Just keep in mind that this car isn’t available for purchase at Legendary Motorsport.
Pick Up the Coil Rocket Voltic for Free
The Coil Rocket Voltic is easily spotted on the map with its unique icon, and you can only store it in your Vehicle Warehouse. It’s an incredibly fast vehicle, but it can’t be used in regular races. Despite this limitation, the free Coil Rocket Voltic will make traveling across the game world much quicker and simpler.
Released in 2013 with GTA V, Grand Theft Auto Online has become a hugely popular online game that’s constantly updated. Set in the city of Los Santos, the game allows players to create a criminal character and build a life in the underworld. Players can complete missions and elaborate heists, purchase properties and businesses, customize vehicles, compete in races, and enjoy a wide variety of other activities. Rockstar Games regularly adds new content to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
GTA VI Is Around the Corner
Despite the upcoming release of GTA VI, the current version of GTA V remains incredibly popular. The online component will continue to be supported even after GTA VI launches, and it’s likely GTA VI will eventually have its own online mode similar to GTA Online. GTA V still has millions of active players, making it profitable for developers to maintain the service.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set in a fictional state modeled after Florida, and brings players back to the iconic Vice City. The game follows Jason Duval and Lucia Daminos, a pair of criminals whose lives are thrown into chaos after a botched bank robbery uncovers a larger conspiracy. Following years of hype and the huge popularity of past GTA games, GTA VI is expected to be a massive success, potentially breaking sales records. The Grand Theft Auto series as a whole has already sold over 465 million copies worldwide.
If everything stays on schedule, Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to come out on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
