GTA 6 could be getting a companion app, if a job listing by Rockstar North is any indication.
Past games from Rockstar, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5, featured companion apps. While the prospect of another app isn’t shocking, considering Rockstar’s history, it’s the potential for Grand Theft Auto 6 that really piques curiosity, as it could surpass previous endeavors.
In the GTA 5 companion app, you were able to customize cars and look after Lamar Davis’s dog, Chop. However, given that GTA 6 appears to feature a detailed social media application, it could seamlessly integrate with your real-world smartphone experience.
It’s possible that we can enjoy clips from the game showcasing the notorious Leonidians causing mischief in various parts of Vice City and beyond on the larger map.
It would be amazing if GTA 6 allowed us to view videos of other players’ gameplay, creating a more socially interactive experience similar to the messaging system in Dark Souls or the structure-building aspects in Death Stranding.
In the game, it’s fantastic if your smartphone can function as an in-game mobile device, improving control and offering a more engaging gaming experience.
Both GTA 4 and 5 offered numerous in-game websites to explore, a good chunk of which were quite humorous, yet they could be effortlessly overlooked.
Having the option to delve into this game element while you’re not playing it would be fantastic, particularly if it synchronized with your in-game progress and provided you with the most recent updates about Jason and Lucia’s actions.

The highlight for us is listening to the various radio stations within the game, as there are numerous options that would take many hours of playing or multiple games to truly enjoy them all.
Based on the buzz about earphones, it seems plausible, considering that there exists a specific Nintendo music application. This isn’t entirely far-fetched, given the circumstances.
A much more enjoyable bus journey to work would be possible if we could tune into the eccentric monologues of Lazlow Jones.
Going a bit further than what Nintendo currently offers with the Zelda Notes app, although it already has some fantastic features like auto-building share functions, there’s still room for something more.
But all this is merely speculation and wishful thinking on our part. Only time will tell!
