The Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable versions of the game use the same cheat codes – a combination of button presses and D-pad directions. However, the iOS and Android versions are different; you’ll need to type in codes in certain spots within the game.

How to use cheats in GTA Chinatown Wars
Okay, so if you want to use cheats in GTA Chinatown Wars on the DS or PSP, it’s actually pretty easy. All you gotta do is enter a specific sequence of button presses and D-Pad directions. The cool thing is, you can do this anytime you want during gameplay!
In the mobile versions of the game (on both iOS and Android), you enter cheat codes by typing them on whiteboards found within safehouses.
The game offers a range of cheats, letting you do things like alter the weather, instantly gain money, and even cause an eagle to explode.
