September is continuing at a brisk pace, so it’s another busy week for new PS5 and PS4 releases.
Some of the biggest announcements included new looks at Silent Hill F, EA Sports FC 26, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and those were just a few of the exciting reveals.
These are all the new PS5 and PS4 games coming out this week.
New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (22nd-28th September)
- Baby Steps (23rd September – PS5): “Play as Nate, an unemployed failson with nothing going for him, until one day he discovers a power he never knew he had… putting one foot in front of the other.”
- Forgive Me Father 2 (23rd September – PS5): “Embark on a path to salvation as you continue the story of the Priest character from the first installment. How long can you balance on the edge of sanity? Will your sins be forgiven, or your soul consumed by madness?”
- Sworn (23rd September – PS5): “SWORN is a 1-4 player co-op action rogue-like. Explore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the round table.”
- Wizordum (23rd September – PS5, PS4): “The Ancient Seal of Terrabruma has shattered, unleashing the forces of Chaos once more. As one of the last Mages of Wizordum sanctuary, you must embark on a quest to find the source of this corruption and push the Chaos back before they consume the kingdom in a speedrun-friendly fantasy FPS tearing a page from the spellbooks of ‘90s fantasy FPS classics like Hexen and Heretic.”
- Beat Hazard Arcade (24th September – PS5, PS4): “Experience your music collection like never before in this intense, music-driven twin-stick shooter.”
- Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile (25th September – PS5): “In Death on the Nile, a peaceful cruise on the Nile is disrupted by a terrible crime. Thankfully, famous detective Hercule Poirot is onboard.”
- Mamorokun Recurse (25th September – PS5, PS4): “Use Curse Bullets to dynamically alter the difficulty as you play. Wipe out smaller enemies and clear projectiles from the screen, or power up larger enemies, making them harder to defeat… The greater the risk the higher you’ll score, and you can even curse yourself to increase your damage to overcome more challenging enemies.”
- Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (25th September – PS5, PS4): “Battle the likes of sozzled bearbearians and nuke-addled snotwolves to protect our glowing green world from the sweaty hands of the Uberlich! Krumit’s Tale involves the same core deck building mechanics as Meteorfall: Journeys and the same cast of overly optimistic heroes, but expands the ‘swipe’ mechanic into a dynamic grid based system. This means more depth and longevity – our heroes will have to choose perks to complement their deck-building strategy and carefully manage the board if they wish to triumph.”
- Republic of Pirates (25th September – PS5): “In the heart of the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy lies the Republic of Pirates, a powerful alliance of crews united by their shared ideology and collective ambitions. But while the early days of the confederacy were prosperous, greed and jealousy soon spread, leading to a vicious mutiny and a final bloody breakup.”
- Silent Hill F (25th September – PS5): “In 1960s Japan, Shimizu Hinako’s secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, transforming her home into a haunting nightmare.”
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (25th September – PS5, PS4): “Race across land, sea, air, and space in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! Warp through Travel Rings into new dimensions where something new awaits around every twist and turn.”
- Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian (26th September – PS5): “Two young adults return to their lost hometown in search of truth and to bring back what they hold dear.”
- Cladun X3 (26th September – PS5, PS4): “Villains from near and far have been summoned to Arcanus Cella to participate in a death game in the name of achieving world peace. You are one of those villains. Choose from six different weapon types and 10 different jobs to conquer dungeons teeming with ferocious monsters and deadly traps. Use the customization functions to create evil allies to aid in your journey with the Magic Circle System, a unique system to the Cladun series.”
- EA Sports FC 26 (26th September – PS5, PS4): “Play your way with an overhauled gameplay experience powered by community feedback. The new Authentic Gameplay option delivers the most true-to-football experience ever in Career, while the Competitive Gameplay option—driven by refined fundamentals, added consistency, and enhanced responsiveness—is tailor-made for play in Football Ultimate Team™ and Clubs.”
- Hotel Barcelona (26th September – PS5): “Justine, a rookie U.S. Marshal, thought this was just another routine case. But when her car crashes in a freak accident at the edge of nowhere, she finds herself trapped in a twisted new world: HOTEL BARCELONA.”
- NBA Bounce (26th September – PS5, PS4): “Ready to step onto the court with your favorite team? Choose from 30 NBA teams like the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, and more as you dribble, and dunk to victory. Play on team-themed courts with energetic mascots and crowds. Can you beat the buzzer?”
- Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac (26th September – PS5, PS4): “Run, chomp, butt-bounce, and more to meet PAC-LAND’s challenge and charm! From B-Doing Tree Tops to ice skating in Snowy Mountain, and taking aim from the PAC-Marine deep in the Ocean. Rev roll in Paradise Meadows, Flutter jump over lava in the Volcano, and PAC-Dot attack through Ghost Island! PAC-MAN is ready for action!”
