Guide: These 6+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (30th-5th April)

Okay, so it’s the end of the company’s year, and honestly, next week’s looking pretty dry for new game releases. Not a ton dropping, unfortunately!

Two games are generating a lot of buzz: South of Midnight, previously an Xbox exclusive, and Darwin’s Paradox, a promising new project from Konami.

Here’s everything coming out next week.

New PS5, PS4 Games Next Week (30th-5th April)

  • Fishbowl (30th March – PS5): “Fishbowl is a slow and tender narrative game about dreams, grief, and hope. Rediscover your memories and find your way into the present in this intimate experience where slice-of-life meets surreal.”
  • Legacy of Kain: Ascendance (31st March – PS5): “Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a fast, 2D action platformer built around vertical movement, fluid combat, and skill-driven play.”
  • South of Midnight (31st March – PS5): “From the creators of Contrast and We Happy Few, the award-winning South of Midnight is a spellbinding third person action-adventure game set in the American Deep South.”
  • Super Meat Boy 3D (31st March – PS5): “Super Meat Boy 3D is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who’s trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux – IN 3D!”
  • Darwin’s Paradox (2nd April – PS5): “Embark on a grand adventure worthy of a true animated movie with Darwin, an octopus as charming as he is clever, ripped from the ocean and trapped in a massive and mysterious industrial complex.
