What Games Will Be Shown or Announced at PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream?

Sony hasn’t officially announced which games will be featured in its upcoming State of Play event, so everything is still speculation. However, clues on the PlayStation Blog suggest some possibilities.

This month’s State of Play presentation from Sony will include news, gameplay footage, and announcements from game developers worldwide. Expect updates on games coming to PS5 from both independent studios and PlayStation Studios themselves.

It looks like the upcoming State of Play will feature a lot of different games, from major titles to smaller indie projects, and will also include news directly from PlayStation Studios.

Regarding the next games, we’ll probably hear more about Marathon and Saros soon, as those are the first games currently in development by our studio.

We might also get a look at Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which is expected to release around 2026. A reveal of Marvel’s Wolverine seems less probable for now, as it’s currently planned for release in Fall 2026 and will likely be highlighted closer to that time.

It’s harder to say for sure which games from other companies will be released, but titles like the new 007 game, Resident Evil Requiem, and potentially LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight seem likely to appear.

How Long Will PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream Be?

Sony has said this State of Play will run for 60+ minutes.
