What Games Will Be Shown or Announced at PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream?
Sony hasn’t officially announced which games will be featured in its upcoming State of Play event, so everything is still speculation. However, the latest post on the PlayStation Blog gives us some clues about what to expect.
This month’s State of Play presentation from Sony will include news, gameplay footage, and announcements from game developers worldwide. It will showcase games coming to the PS5 from both independent studios and major publishers, as well as updates from PlayStation Studios themselves.
It appears this State of Play presentation will cover a lot of ground, showcasing both major titles and smaller indie games, plus some news directly from PlayStation Studios.
Regarding the next games from our studio, we’re likely to hear more about Marathon and Saros soon.
I’m also hoping we get a look at Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls – I heard it’s coming out sometime in 2026! While I’m excited about Marvel’s Wolverine, it’s not until Fall 2026, so I figure we’ll probably hear more about that one closer to its release.
It’s harder to say for sure about games made by other companies, but popular titles like the new 007 game, Resident Evil Requiem, and a possible LEGO Batman game seem likely to appear.
How Long Will PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream Be?
Sony has said this State of Play will run for 60+ minutes.
