Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Son’s Reaction to NSFW Scenes in Marty Supreme

Gwyneth Paltrow assembled an awkward moment with her son. 

Gwyneth Paltrow said she loved having her 19-year-old son, Moses Martin, with her at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film on December 8th. However, she admitted things were a little awkward for him during the movie’s more intimate scenes with Timothée Chalamet.

Gwyneth Paltrow shared on Seth Meyers’ show that her son used to cover his face during any intimate scenes in her movies. She explained he did this throughout the entire film and clearly wasn’t a fan.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who shares 21-year-old Apple Martin with Chris Martin, said she tried to prepare Moses for what was coming, explaining, “I did give him a warning.”

The Academy Award-winning actress has openly said she’s comfortable with her family seeing her in revealing roles.

Oh my gosh, she told this story and it’s just everything! She was saying how weird it is, doing those kinds of scenes in movies, you know? And she remembered being totally mortified taking her grandfather to the premiere of Shakespeare in Love because she had this… well, a topless scene! But it was all part of the character, because she was playing a guy. She was trying to warn him, to prepare him for what he was about to see, and he just… completely blew her off! He just said, ‘Ah, I’ve seen it before, two eggs sunny side up!’ Can you believe it? It’s just the funniest, most adorable thing ever. I’ve listened to her tell it like a million times and it still cracks me up!

Thinking about it now, Gwyneth regretted not warning Moses sooner.

The 53-year-old told Seth he’d been trying to come up with a similar idea to share with his son, but couldn’t think of anything.

Despite everything, the trip to the movies was a success. Moses really enjoyed the film, and Gwyneth Paltrow said, “He loved it.”

I remember reading Gwyneth talk about filming those more intimate scenes with Timothée, and she seemed genuinely at ease. Even though Moses, her son, had some concerns about it, she felt comfortable with Timothée despite their significant age difference. It was really refreshing to hear her talk about it so openly.

Gwyneth Paltrow jokingly told Vanity Fair in March, ‘I felt like, okay, this is ridiculous – I’m playing a character much younger than I am!’ She then added that the film features a lot of intimate scenes.

Gwyneth continued, describing him as a well-mannered and well-brought-up young man – she almost called him a kid. She added that he’s dedicated to his job and enjoyable to work with.
