Supergiant Games’ highly anticipated sequel to their popular 2020 game, Hades 2, is now fully released! It’s available on PC and both Nintendo Switch models, and this new version (1.0) includes the complete ending and a bunch of other fresh content. You can see how the game has evolved over the past year and a half in the trailer below.
The launch version of the game features the full story, along with enhanced visuals and effects. Players can also enjoy new decorations for the Crossroads, collectible Keepsakes, alternate looks for their Familiar, and 50 new Steam Achievements. Supergiant Games has also added new music, improved the game’s Nocturnal Arms, made balance adjustments, and included many other enhancements, encouraging players to explore everything the update has to offer.
Our review of *Hades 2* (Version 1.0) gave it a 9/10 score. As of 2025, it’s the top-rated new release on Metacritic, boasting a Metascore of 94 based on 35 reviews. Players on Steam also overwhelmingly love it, with 95% of over 66,000 reviews being positive.
