She touched on it while doing press for something else, and honestly, it’s great to see she’s aware of how much fans are hoping for a surprise appearance. Halle Berry recently discussed the possibility of reprising her role as Storm in a future Marvel movie, specifically ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ While appearing on BBC Radio 1Xtra with Chris Hemsworth, she was asked about returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and gave a thoughtful answer.

During an interview with Nadia Jae, Halle Berry was asked if her X-Men character, Storm, might appear in a future Marvel Cinematic Universe film, potentially in a movie called Avengers: Doomsday. Berry and Chris Hemsworth both laughed at the question before she cautiously responded that she’d be happy to reprise the role, but seemed hesitant. When asked about a possible return through the multiverse, she repeated her enthusiasm but trailed off, sharing a laugh with Hemsworth. After further questioning, she ultimately clarified, “No, no.”

Even though she said she hadn’t been asked to return, Berry expressed a lot of affection for the role and made it clear she still loves the character. “I adore Storm,” she said. “Like so many others, she’s a character I truly love, and I’m incredibly proud to have played her. I’d definitely come back if I had the chance.”

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m getting so excited about what’s coming! It sounds like they’re really going all out with these next two movies. We’re getting ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ this December 18th, and then ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ in 2027 – that’s a long wait, but it’ll be worth it! The scale of these films is going to be massive, with tons of our favorite heroes and villains showing up. I was thrilled to hear Robert Downey Jr. is back as Doctor Doom! And even better, they’re bringing back some of the original X-Men cast – Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler! It’s going to be incredible seeing them all together.
