Okay, so I’m really hyped for this – it looks like Halo: Campaign Evolved, with Master Chief finally hitting the PS5, is already a massive deal! I’ve been checking and it’s shooting up the pre-order charts on the PlayStation Store. Seriously, everyone seems excited, and it’s not even out until July 28th!
The game is already the top pre-ordered PlayStation 5 title in many European countries, and its popularity is rapidly growing in the United States.
In the United States, the more expensive Premium Edition currently sits at number seven in sales, surpassed only by different editions of Madden NFL 27, EA Sports College Football 27, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and Marvel’s Wolverine.
In the UK, its standard edition is currently the country’s most pre-ordered game, with its Premium Edition in fourth. 
In France, the Premium Edition is also number one, while the standard release is top in Germany.
The game is likely to become more appealing as we learn more details before it comes out. For instance, we recently found out you can play the entire story from a third-person perspective.
Xbox previously suggested Halo games might appear on PlayStation, but they’ve since been unclear about exactly which titles they plan to release on Sony’s console.
However, Microsoft might find it hard to ignore these sales figures, particularly since the Xbox business is currently facing increased attention and evaluation.
