Fans of Harry Potter will be cheering on Oliver Phelps, who played George Weasley, as he runs his first-ever marathon on November 2nd. He jokingly admitted he couldn’t even run a kilometer when he first agreed to participate!
But he’s been training hard, and he won’t be the only actor on the course. Anthony Ramos (In the Heights), Claire Holt (The Originals), and Lauren Ridloff (Eternals) are also preparing to run the marathon.
Several stars from The Bachelor franchise will be running the marathon, including Joey Graziadei, Tyler Cameron, Matt James, Zac Clark, Joe Amabile, Tanner Courtad, and Tayshia Adams.
I’m reminded why I push myself through training and workouts when I hear the encouragement from the crowd,” the former Bachelorette shared in an Instagram post on October 27th. “I’ve discovered I’m strong and can bounce back from challenges, and I guess I’m a bit of a marathon enthusiast – this is my third, and I’m already thinking about the next one!”
The competition is heating up with some fresh faces! Joining the race are reality TV stars from popular shows like Love Island USA: Bryan Arenales, Nic Vansteenberghe, and Elan Bibas. They’ll be competing alongside Chloe Lukasiak from Dance Moms and Carl Radke from Summer House. Rounding out the contestants are TV hosts Phil Keoghan (The Amazing Race) and Nev Schulman (Catfish).

She explained that she woke up at 4 a.m. throughout the summer to train, and it was incredibly challenging, requiring significant support from her family over the four months of preparation.

The song had been a huge source of strength for her friend during treatment, playing constantly through every chemo session. Now, when the actress trains, she hears her friend’s voice encouraging her to keep pushing forward.

Watching his father struggle with Parkinson’s disease motivated actor Ryan Reynolds to run the New York City Marathon in 2008. He completed the race in three hours and fifty minutes and also raised funds for Parkinson’s research through his partnership with Michael J. Fox’s Team Fox.

Following her completion of the 2007 NYC marathon, the actress surprisingly appeared at the premiere of then-husband Tom Cruise’s film, Lions for Lambs, and she even wore heels!
