The second season of Hazbin Hotel is now streaming on Prime Video, and viewers are eager to see what happens next with the unique characters at this unusual school in Hell.
Originally starting as a YouTube series, it’s become very popular on the streaming platform, gaining many new viewers and being renewed for both seasons 3 and 4.
Erika Henningsen, known for her work in The Four Seasons, stars as Charlie Morningstar, a princess of Hell. Charlie tries to fix the problem of overpopulation in her kingdom by helping lost souls turn their lives around.
Stephanie Beatriz, known for her role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, voices Vaggie, Charlie’s girlfriend, and their romance is particularly popular with viewers.
I recently spoke with Vivienne Medrano, the creative force behind Hazbin Hotel, and she’s incredibly excited about the upcoming second season. She told me she thinks audiences are really going to connect with it and find it rewarding – and honestly, after seeing what she’s built, I have a feeling she’s right.
We’re introducing a lot of new things in this installment. Expect some surprising reveals, interesting character backgrounds, and hopefully, more musical numbers – we’re planning to feature more singing from characters who haven’t sung before.
