For Heidi Klum, a haus is not a home without her kids.
That’s why Heidi Klum, the host of *Project Runway*, is eager for her four children with ex-husband Seal-Leni, 21, Henry, 20, Johan, 18, and Lou, 15-to connect with her German heritage. She’s bringing them to Munich on September 18th for her Bavarian festival, HeidiFest, to help them experience it firsthand.
She told OK! magazine that a big party wouldn’t be much fun without loved ones. ‘It’s best to share moments like this with friends and family,’ she said, ‘and I’m so glad everyone came and enjoyed themselves with me.’
She explained, ‘Even though I wasn’t born in Bavaria, I’m still proud to be German. I was raised here, and I want my children to connect with that part of my background.’
For a truly special family gathering, I was so happy to have my husband, Tom Kaulitz, and my brother-in-law, Bill Kaulitz, join us, along with my amazing mom, Erna Klum. It meant a lot to me to include everyone’s partners too, so Henry’s girlfriend, Kayla Betulius, and Leni’s boyfriend, Aris Rachevsky, were there to celebrate with us as well!
As a style expert, I always appreciate a classic look, and Heidi absolutely nailed it! She wore a beautiful, bright red dirndl – a traditional dress – and completed the outfit with stunning ruby heels and a gorgeous flower crown made of red roses. It was a timeless and elegant choice.
She finished her outfit with a red, heart-shaped handbag by Aigner. The German fashion house also made similar black and white bags for Leni and Lou.
Heidi shared on Instagram on September 19th that she’s a big fan of her Aigner bag, and she’s thrilled that all her guests now have one as well!

Oh my gosh, Heidi absolutely *nailed* it! She wore this stunning, traditional red dirndl, and it was just… perfect. And the accessories! Ruby red heels – can you even imagine? – and the most gorgeous flower crown made of bright red roses. She looked like a fairytale princess, seriously! I’m obsessed with her style.

Her children – Leni Klum, Henry Samuel, Johan Samuel, and Lou Klum – were there, along with her husband Tom Kaulitz, his brother Bill Kaulitz, and Heidi’s mother, Erna Klum. Henry’s girlfriend, Kayla Betulius, also joined the celebration of Bavarian culture.

Heidi and Leni enjoyed a big German feast.

The supermodel and her daughter Lou both wore traditional dresses called drindls. These dresses have a fitted, lace-up top and a skirt with an apron.

Lou and Johan sat together at the family table.

Leni and her boyfriend Aris Rachevsky toasted with large beer steins.
