It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Henry Cavill getting candid about fatherhood! 

Actor Henry Cavill, known for playing the Man of Steel, recently shared an uncommon remark regarding the arrival of his first child – a daughter who remains nameless at this time – with his partner Natalie Viscuso, which occurred earlier in the year.

When asked about the most significant chapter in his life so far, Henry quickly pointed to the time spent with his child, partner, and their two pets, which he referred to as their “forever home”. This was highlighted during an interview with British GQ, published on July 17.

This marks the initial occasion where the actor from the Justice League has publicly discussed the birth of his daughter, a fact that became known in January when him and Natalie announced they had their first child together.

Although Henry hasn’t spoken extensively about his parenthood journey, it doesn’t mean he’s been completely quiet on the subject. In fact, back in April 2024, at the age of 42, Henry publicly announced that he and Natalie, aged 34, were expecting a child. He also shared some feelings about welcoming a new family member into their home.

As he told Access Hollywood at the time, “Natalie and I are very, very excited.”

Moreover, Henry also provided a peek into the secret of him and Natalie keeping their connection robust since they made their relationship official in 2021. In their eyes, a perfect date night can be right at home.

He’s certainly not hesitant about having a dance-off in the kitchen, let me assure you. And as for that bottle of wine, it won’t last long! (He made a joke about it.)

While Henry occasionally enjoys unwinding with an enjoyable drink, he is equally committed to preserving his health for the sake of his child. In fact, this has been a significant concern of his well before his little one was born.

In 2017, Henry expressed to Men’s Health U.K. that if he ever becomes a father, he aspires to be the active dad who keeps up with his children. He also mentioned that, while time is running out, he desires to remain fit and vigorous, rather than struggling to keep pace due to poor health.
