Hideo Kojima, the celebrated game creator, has given fans a first look at his next project, Physint, including the game’s poster and some cast details. This game is being developed for the PlayStation 6. Kojima is known for his innovative titles, and his 2025 release, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, has been highly praised and is considered a standout game for the PS5. While working on Death Stranding 2, Kojima unexpectedly announced Physint, which will be a tactical espionage game reminiscent of the classic *Metal Gear Solid* series.
Kojima announced a highly ambitious project called *Physint* almost two years ago, describing it as a blend of a video game and a movie, but hasn’t shared many details since. While he’s already begun planning *Physint*, he’s currently focused on another game, a horror title for Xbox called *OD*, which recently received a new trailer and will be released first.
Physint Gets First Details from Hideo Kojima
Kojima Productions celebrated its 10th anniversary with a live stream discussing the company’s plans. While their new project, *Physint*, is still early in development – with no story or gameplay yet – Hideo Kojima revealed a poster. The poster features a character reminiscent of *Blade Runner*, wearing a trench coat and carrying a submachine gun while walking through a city. The tagline for the project is: “Here comes the feeling.”
Although the main character’s face is hidden, people are still guessing who it might be. I suspect it could be a project involving Hideo Kojima and Robert Pattinson, given their close working relationship. Kojima has explained he can’t reveal the actor yet because the strike in 2023 prevented him from officially casting anyone in the role.

Hideo Kojima has secured some talented actors for supporting roles in his new game, *Physint*. He’s cast Charlee Fraser, who recently appeared in *Anyone But You* and *Furiosa*, alongside Ma Dong-seok (also known as Don Lee, from *Train to Busan* and *Eternals*) and Minami Hamabe (*Godzilla Minus One*). While their specific roles haven’t been revealed, Fraser might play a key supporting character, potentially similar to Fragile from *Death Stranding*.
Hideo Kojima reportedly has an actor in mind for the lead role in *Physint*, but a final agreement hasn’t been made yet. We might learn more at events like The Game Awards in December or Summer Game Fest, though it’s also possible this information will remain confidential for a long time, as the game is still very early in development. Considering *Physint* is currently just a concept, a release isn’t expected until the late 2020s or early 2030s. It’s worth noting the game’s title is currently a working title, meaning details could change significantly over time.
