Squanch Games has announced that High on Life 2 will be released for PS5 on February 13th, 2026, and they’ve also shared a lengthy gameplay video that lasts around 42 minutes. You can check it out above. Although pre-ordering isn’t available yet, you can add the sequel to your list of desired games in your PS Store Wishlist.
Set five years after the events of the first game, here’s the story setup from the developer:
You’re en route to a celebrity-endorsement event when suddenly, a bounty notice for your sister, Lizzie, appears on the network. As a freedom fighter or terrorist, depending on one’s viewpoint, she’s been quite occupied with her activities. Following some undercover events, you find yourself in an unfavorable position. However, you possess an array of weapons that can speak, a combination of old and new favorites such as Knifey (Michael Cusack), Sweezy (Betsy Sodaro), Gus (JB Smoove), and the newly introduced Sheath (Ralph Ineson). This encounter is scheduled at gamescom.
