Many promising games that began in Early Access are expected to launch their full versions in 2026. It’s helpful for developers to get feedback from players who’ve been trying the game as it develops, and Lucky Tower Ultimate has received very positive responses. Since becoming available in Early Access in 2024, the game has maintained a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam. Now, this roguelike dungeon crawler will be fully released on both PC and Nintendo Switch.
Currently, Lucky Tower Ultimate is only playable on PC as it was released in Early Access. However, on April 16th, when the full game launches, it will also be available on Nintendo Switch, which is fantastic news for console gamers. Plus, because the game is already verified for the Steam Deck, players will have multiple ways to enjoy the complete Lucky Tower Ultimate experience next month.
Lucky Tower Ultimate Brings Comedy & Adventure to PC & Nintendo Switch With 1.0 Launch This April

Lucky Tower Ultimate is a funny, hand-drawn 2D game where you explore dungeons. It’s made by Studio Seufz, the team behind The Longing, and published by AMC Games. The game has been available on Steam in early access since September 2024, so it’s had plenty of time to improve based on what players thought, with over a year and a half of feedback and four big updates. Now, Lucky Tower Ultimate is officially launching and is also coming to consoles for the first time.
This game throws players into a dangerous, ever-changing tower to explore. Along the way, you’ll find a wacky, comical style of humor alongside some surprisingly difficult obstacles. The official version 1.0 update adds even more to the experience with new areas, music, and over 600 new lines of spoken dialogue. You’ll also discover a new collection of items and 10 fresh achievements, bringing the total to almost 100. And if you can survive the journey, you’ll finally uncover the true ending to the story.
A new trailer has just been released alongside the game’s launch date, giving you a sneak peek at what’s coming. You can watch it here:
The game’s trailer highlights its funny moments, unique 2D visuals, and a glimpse of how it plays. The full 1.0 release promises fresh challenges and more laughs. While the game looks lighthearted and charming, it’s actually quite difficult – and that’s part of what players who tried the Early Access version loved! It’s a surprisingly tough game wrapped in a comedic package.
Reviewers love Lucky Tower Ultimate because it’s fun to play again and again, really funny, and surprisingly challenging. One player joked they “died” 10-15 times in just two hours, but still gave it a perfect score! The game’s humor helps balance out the difficulty, and the randomly generated levels keep things interesting, even when it gets frustrating.
Lucky Tower Ultimate is available now on PC through Steam as an Early Access title. The full version, 1.0, will launch on April 16th for PC (on both Steam and the Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch. The price will stay at $14.99, the same as the current Early Access cost.
