In just under 24 hours, Team Cherry’s highly-anticipated game, “Hollow Knight: Silksong,” will be released. For those who have waited over six long years, this moment is incredibly satisfying. To sweeten the deal further, backers of the original “Hollow Knight” Kickstarter campaign who selected Nintendo Switch as their preferred platform can upgrade to the Switch 2 version at no extra cost.
Upon getting their keys (that become active once the game Silksong is released), they can head over to the Nintendo eShop to download the Upgrade Pack for free. For Steam players, the keys will be distributed via Humble Bundle, which includes the official soundtrack. Additionally, they’ll receive DRM-free copies of the game, which will become available post-launch.
The game titled Hollow Knight: Silksong is set to be released on September 4th, becoming available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, as well as Xbox One. The game will officially go live at 7 PM PST and can be purchased for $19.99. For those interested, we’ve compiled a feature with all the essential details you should know before purchasing it.
